In conjunction with the launch of our Second Anniversary collection, we are proud to present a short film about our craft, as captured through the lens of a good friend Matthew Horrex. We have always wanted to showcase our tiemaking process, and we are very thankful that Matthew has managed to capture the entire three hour process of handcrafting a bespoke tie from start to finish in a short film that maintains the integrity of the craft. Please note that this is no light-hearted video that you’ll enjoy on your commute home - it is an intense footage with no dialogue, no captions and no B.S. Just good honest tiemaking, the way we do it.
Go team Singapore. More importantly, a privilege to call them both my friends.
A meeting with Anthony Delos, Artisan Shoemaker.
If you’re interested in wasting 40 minutes of your time and you’re a true nerd, then you’d appreciate this. Delos, now head shoemaker at Berluti after his bespoke operation was swallowed up by LVMH, is regarded as one of the best bespoke bootmakers in the world.
Here you see the skill that goes into lasting, skiving, cutting the holdfast, sewing the welt (by hand), building the heel, and finishing the sole on a pair of boots.
Can’t quite get behind the Raindrop Camo Pants though, even after seeing it styled rather creatively. My gripe with it is that it clutters up every outfit that it’s slotted into.
Finally, if you’ve been eyeing their collaboration with Need Supply, the Wash Me Over Field Jacket is on sale now. I like how it fits on the lookbook model, but the picture on the main site make it look rather thin and squarish at the end, a fit that has rarely worked out for me.
F*ck reblogging half naked girls, this is beautiful.

I am in tears with how beautiful this was…
